Levi Strauss & Co has extended its contract with DHL Supply Chain to manage its European distribution centre in Belgium for a further three years.
The regional DC is based in Bornem, where the 100-strong DHL team stores and distributes some 9,000 Levi’s products headed for Benelux, France, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
DHL also provides services such as price tagging, labelling, bagging and quality checks for the clothing company.
The hub has been operational since 2003, initially fulfilling orders for the French and Benelux markets, with further markets added in recent years following a number of integration projects.
DHL Supply Chain also operates a second regional distribution centre within the company’s European distribution network based in the Czech Republic, which covers 24 countries across Europe.
