Have your say in our web TV debate on Sales and Operations Planning. Only 13 per cent of companies maximise the full potential of their S&OP processes despite 86 per cent having invested in the process, according to AMR Research. In the current economic climate, efficient S&OP is becoming increasingly important in streamlining supply chain operations, and as such will form the basis of a web TV debate that will go out live today (Thursday 9th July) from 3pm BST.
The event, which Supply Chain Standard is running in association with Oracle, will look at the critical challenges to creating an effective S&OP process. Factors to be considered will include ownership, frequency, granularity, supplier/customer issues and the impact of technology. The debate will last one hour and will offer viewers the chance to interact, sending questions and comments either in advance or live in response to the discussion as it unfolds.
Panellists will include Dr Janet Godsell, senior research fellow, logistics and supply chain management at Cranfield, Andrew Spence, business development director for supply chain at Oracle and Dave Anning, director of global supply chain at Smiths Medical with more to be confirmed soon.
