Staples, the office products company, has selected RedPrairie’s Workforce Management system to provide support for labour across its US retail supply chain operations.
Nearly 1,500 associates will use the solution in four distribution centres located near Hagerstown, Md; Killingly, Conn; Terre Haute, Ind; and Rialto, Ca.
“Our organisation wanted a workforce solution that could provide visibility beyond the walls of a distribution centre,” says Bill Ross, Staples vice president of retail distribution. “We viewed RedPrairie as a best-of-breed selection among other vendors. In particular, our company liked RedPrairie’s real-time productivity reporting, and their ability to forecast labour requirements across an entire supply network.”
