Commercial laundry equipment supplier JLA has gone to ByBox to ensure its national network of 117 engineers receive essential parts for maintenance quickly and efficiently.
JLA, which works with care homes to hospitals, hotels to housing schemes and military bases to prisons, is using the ByBox network of secure dropboxes to distribute parts to its engineers.
ByBox has a network of more than 18,000 secure dropboxes in the UK. After parts are ordered by JLA, parcels travel through ByBox’s distribution network to the nearest dropbox, for its engineers to collect before 8am the following morning.
JLA is able to check the status of its deliveries through the ByBox web tracking platform, and receive text alerts to notify engineers when parts have arrived at a specific site.
Ben Verity, internal service and parts performance manager at JLA, said: “Because the parts delivery is so critical, it’s extremely important get essential parts out as quickly as possible. ByBox is very prepared and I suppose the main point is they are flexible and open minded about how they can change their business to suit the needs of ours.
