Clothing and footwear retailer Footasylum has selected Vista Retail Support to handle its EPOS estate across its 19 UK stores in a three-year contract.
James Atkinson, IT and operations manager at the Manchester-based retailer, said: “We were impressed with the team’s approach and the business had a similar feel to our own organisation.”
The company used to support its EPOS internally, but following a period of growth decided to outsource the maintenance.
Atkinson added: “Although we only have 34 lanes we can’t afford any down time of our EPOS lanes, Our products are much in demand and if our tills were down for an hour it would have a big impact on our operation.”
