Dairy Crest has signed a multi-year agreement with GXS Managed Services, in a bid to improve and optimise its relationships with customers and suppliers.
The portfolio includes B2B e-commerce outsourcing services, such as B2B messaging services, trading partner onboarding, community management, mapping, testing and monitoring.
GXS will manage interactions with more than 30 customers in the UK including major high street retailers. Additional customers and suppliers will be added in a subsequent phase.
Shamash Merali, group IT director at Dairy Crest, said: “Overall, we expect outsourcing will improve the reliability, robustness and consistency of our system to help drive customer satisfaction to new levels.
“Using GXS Managed Services will help us reduce risk, costs and improve time to market with our customers and suppliers.”
