The planning application for the Co-op’s 503,577 sq ft Scottish national distribution centre at ProLogis Park M8 in Newhouse is being considered by North Lanarkshire Council.
If given the go ahead, developer ProLogis will start construction in November.
The facility on a 31.83-acre site includes a 426,387 sq ft warehouse with three-storey offices totalling 30,814 sq ft and hub offices of 10,000 sq ft.
The warehouse will have an eaves height of 15m, as well as 49 dock and 2 level access doors.
There are also 444 car parking spaces in addition to 300 HGV trailer spaces.
