TDG has signed a deal to provide a complete export shipping management service to paper manufacturer James Cropper Speciality Papers.
TDG handles up to 50 consignments a day, offering a range of services, including air, sea and road freight, as well as managing all freight forwarding documentation.
Bookings and documentation are sent to TDG using an electronic data interface (EDI). These are then processed via one of TDG’s freight forwarding operations in Manchester.
Kim Gilbert, export sales manager at JCSP, said: “We were impressed with the extent of TDG’s global supply chain network, and their existing involvement in the paper industry aided the decision to change to TDG.
“Their operational processes, customer service and their ability to address and overcome shipping problems have made a really positive impact on our business since we made the change to TDG.
