Pantos Logistics has extended its customer base in the electronics sector.
The move comes as demand for its global, multi-modal logistics and supply chain services has increased from importing and exporting businesses within the sector.
Mark Talbot, business development director at Pantos, said: “As well as LG Electronics we are working with several blue chip organisations in this sector. As in the case of LG Electronics, we now operate as an adjunct to our customers’ businesses by playing an essential role in the smooth running of their supply chain operations…
“Again, much of the new business we attract comes as a result of us working closely with our customers and in many cases undertaking a review of their existing international logistics arrangements, through which we are often able to demonstrate significant cost-savings and other economies which can be achieved by switching to Pantos Logistics UK.”
LG Electronics head of supply chain, Alastair Barbour, added: “We have a very long standing relationship with Pantos globally, and we are fortunate in being able to rely on Pantos to despatch consignments from Asia and Europe effectively either by ocean or air freight to ensure optimum inventory management levels within our business.”
