Delta Software, provider of DeltaWMS, has acquired the key assets of PLW Associates Limited, in particular the DWMS AS/400 warehouse management system and associated contracts.
DWMS is a high transaction radio frequency warehouse management system operating on the IBM AS/400 platform. DWMS is in operation in a number of large companies, including Eddie Stobart’s warehouse operations in the UK.
Delta’s operations director Lance Bennett said: “The acquisition of DWMS is of strategic importance to Delta, it adds a number of premier customers to its user base and fills a technology gap for those users who demand the reliability and performance of the AS/400 platform.
“This places Delta in a very strong position within the UK market and strengthens the opportunity for European expansion. The acquisition of DWMS will enable Delta to continue its growth plans and capitalise on opportunities as the economy returns to better times.”
