Dematic will be unveiling its Voice+ Laser Trucks system at Logistics Link North in Doncaster on 13th and 14th October.
Voice+ Laser Trucks are designed to optimise manual warehouses and deliver picking performances of up to 400 cases per hour per picker.
It works by upgrading pallet trucks with an industrial grade laser guidance system in order to automate repetitive non-value adding transport tasks, while freeing up operators to focus solely on picking.
The system claims to maximise picking productivity in manual warehouses and deliver improved energy efficiency and transparency.
Operational flexibility is maintained as routeing plans can be updated as requirements change and manual trucks can be used alongside laser trucks during peak periods.
