K3 Business Technology Group, the ERP supplier, reckons it can save up to 20 per cent on vehicle fleet costs following a link up with South African software developer OPSI which produces PLATO – Planning Logistics and Transport Optimiser software.
The Manchester-based company is working in partnership with specialist OPSI to help companies use their internal and external fleets of vehicles more cost-effectively, with savings of up to 20 per cent.
K3 reckons that linking its SYSPRO ERP system with the OPSI transport planning and fleet optimisation software will enable manufacturers to shrink time to market; from initial design through production and out of the factory gate, providing seamless integration with both financial and distribution modules.
