DHL Aviation is hoping to handle some 120 tonnes of air cargo a month from Casablanca following the appointment of EFIS Morocco to market capacity on its Boeing 757 freighter services to Paris and Leipzig.
Operating every weekday from Casablanca, the B757F offers 25,000 kilos of capacity and provides a fast link for cargo shipments via Paris CDG and Leipzig to the rest of Europe and worldwide.
EFIS Morocco aims to generate some 120 tonnes of general cargo a month for DHL Aviation. Manager Pierre Fougerousse said: “There is a very healthy export market from Morocco for perishables, automotive parts, electronics, textiles and handicrafts. With direct freighter capacity into Paris and Leipzig, we will be able to offer exporters the opportunity to reach all of their major international markets quickly and cost efficiently.”
