Lexon UK, the pharmaceutical wholesaler, has chosen SSI Schaefer to supply an automated picking system for its distribution centre at Redditch, Worcestershire.
SSI Schaefer will start on site in Feb 2010 installing a central conveyor system, A-frame automatic picking system, new shelving and a mezzanine floor for optimum space utilisation. The new system is expected to be up and running in six weeks.
