TomTom WORK, the B2B division of TomTom, has released the second generation of its truck navigation system GO 7000 TRUCK.
The latest device is designed to enable drivers to make map changes – adding or changing access restrictions for roads based on dimension and weight – using Map Share technology.
Managing director Thomas Schmidt said: “Pre-installed restrictions mostly cover major and connecting roads, but with Map Share, the driver is able to improve the map up to the very last mile.”
