The chief executive of truck maker MAN, Håkan Samuelsson, has resigned and is leaving at his own request with immediate effect.
Samuelsson said he hoped that his decision would help the MAN Group to devote all of its attention to its core business and its further development, and he was convinced that there should be a fresh start at the highest level of the company.
Georg Pachta- Reyhofen has been appointed interim successor to Samuelsson. He will assume the function of chairman of the executive board of MAN SE while continuing his duties as chairman of the executive board of MAN Diesel SE.
