Expansion-minded Toll Global Forwarding is starting to be visible on UK roads with its first liveried vehicles going into service. The Scania tractors replace ones showing the BALtrans name, which has been phased out globally following the company’s acquisition by Toll Group in 2008.

Container logistics specialist Elite Transport Services is providing TGF with tractors, skeletal trailers and drivers. They will handle container collections and deliveries to and from Toll customers throughout the UK.
Hong Kong-based TGF is part of the Toll Group which traces its history back to the coal haulage business founded in Australia in 1888 by Albert F Toll. The group now has sales of A$6.bn and employs more than 30,000 staff.
TGF expects to grow significantly as the Toll Group continues to develop its global network.
