Countryside Properties, the housebuilder, has taken Zodiac, a 129,000 sq ft warehouse in Warrington which it will use for storage, distribution and manufacturing.
It has signed a 15 year lease on the site at Gemini Business Park.
Rob Taylor, had of Knight Frank’s North West Logistics & Industrial, said: “Our client NFU Mutual has recently refurbished the building and we secured the letting for when the works completed.
“The fact is that opportunities to secure good quality buildings in prime locations such as Gemini in Warrington, do not come along very often and it shows the strength of the north-west market that deals like this can happen in short timescales. There remains a good depth to the big shed market in the region at present and this letting demonstrates that.”
