Faith Shoes has chosen MetaPack to manage its online delivery after finding that its manual consignment creation at the pack bench was becoming too cumbersome to manage and it wanted to improve its ability to print delivery labels.
Through MetaPack, Faith was able to get the correct label, designed according to required carrier specifications, off the pack bench for each consignment. This removed the operational impediment which involved matching ready printed labels to the orders already packed.
It has also been able to add another carrier with no integration hassle increasing its delivery options, as well as using automatic allocation to improve efficiencies.
David Earl, Faith’s business systems manager, said: “MetaPack has given us complete flexibility in carrier selection and allocation and manages all of the complex interfaces as part of the offering. We can now introduce new services, such as Next Day in a matter of hours.
“The product’s tracking capability is comprehensive and easy to use and has become the common window into the vast amounts of dispatch data across the enterprise and best of all the implementation process from feasibility through to user sign off took less than four weeks with minimal set up costs.”
Faith will also be looking at the possibilities of using MetaPack’s functionality to ship from store and real time fulfilment communication for customers in the future.
