CNH Group has signed a two-year contract with Transmec for full truck load transport services from its production plants throughout Italy to a number of European destinations.
Spare parts will be collected from manufacturing hubs in Emilia, south and central Italy for onward journeys to Basildon in the UK, as well as from throughout Italy to France and from Emilia to Berlin.
The deal is worth around £4.4 million (five million euros) of annual turnover and is part of a larger collaboration between the two companies which sees Transmec managing an express delivery service to Basildon and Antwerp.
