Office products wholesaler VOW has signed a contract with Logistex to supply an automated picking and packing system.
The system includes conveyors and carton assembly equipment and will be installed at the company’s Doncaster distribution centre as part of a consolidation and expansion programme.
The project is scheduled for completion by June 2010.
Logistex provided a consultation and design service to assist VOW throughout the planning stage and is supplying its warehouse control software, which is designed to integrate with Manhattan’s warehouse management system.
