UK bakery Pork Farms has signed a contract with Gist to become its key logistics provider.
The agreement will see Gist collecting some 2.5 million trays of bakery products each year from Pork Farms’ sites in Market Drayton, Shaftesbury and Nottingham.
Paul Denney, head of purchasing at Pork Farms, said: “They [Gist] are providing us with some very practical and cost-effective solutions and a robust supply chain that means we can deliver to our customers with exactly what they need, when they need it.”
