Mobexx has added a Xenon flash-equipped 2T Hydrus Luna to is range of customisable ultra-rugged hand-held computers.
The standard-setting extension is designed to light up poorly lit offices, warehouses and work areas to improve image capture using the hand-held’s built-in five megapixel camera.
The wireless device uses a long-life battery which provides up to 40 hours working life on a single charge and is compatible with low and high frequency RFID, as well and proximity readers.
“A multi-megapixel integrated camera is a popular feature for today’s hand-held computer user. However, without a good light source the quality of the image is compromised. The Hydrus Luna overcomes such problems with its built-in, dedicated Xenon flash giving perfect illumination for pin-sharp photography in low light, as well as for capturing barcodes and label images in the darkest of conditions,” said Mark Dale-Lace, director of Mobexx.
