Skills for Logistics has launched a web site promoting logistics as a vibrant career choice for young people.
It follows research last year that showed that less than six per cent of careers influencers felt well informed about logistics.
The Delivering your future programme – funded by the trustees of the Road Haulage and Distribution Training Council and managed by Skills for Logistics – has developed and launched this industry-backed online resource.
Mick Jackson, chief executive of Skills for Logistics, said: “Delivering your future is a great example of what can be achieved when trade associations from across the logistics industry work with Skills for Logistics to present a single view of career opportunities for the whole sector.”
