Peterhead-based Thistle Seafoods has signed a new distribution deal with frozen and chilled food consolidator Reed Boardall. The company produces up to 100 tonnes of frozen fish fillets and other products a day and Reed Boardall transports some 90 per cent of its output.
Reed Boardall uses double-deck trailers that have a capacity of 40 pallets rather than 26 and can consolidate orders at its site at Boroughbridge.
