Brightpoint, the distributor of wireless devices, has selected RedPrairie to provide both warehouse and transport management systems, as part of its global implementation schedule, which is expected to start in the EMEA region.
The systems have been chosen to improve supply chain visibility, innovation and functionality and support the company’s global growth.
Brightpoint Europe will continue to develop the Business Services Centre which will centralise specific business support functions to be shared across all Brightpoint properties in the region and to execute its plan of consolidating its current warehouse facilities and creating strategically located hubs.
