Boughey has been awarded the higher level European Food Safety Inspection Service certificate for the conformity of the intake, storage, dispatch and decanting of ambient goods at its Deeside warehouse.
EFSIS certificates are awarded to food, drink and allied industries, including packaging and raw materials, who meet stringent standards.
Boughey managing director Keith Forster said: “To receive the Higher Level certificate is rare for this type of warehouse, and the accolade is testament to the hard work and exacting standards of warehouse manager Dave Vernon and his staff.”
