Oakland Distribution has joined forces with The Dairy Trader, the dairy industry sales consultancy to offer a consolidation service which allows the independent UK foodservice wholesale and cash and carry sector access to dairy products, that they currently have difficulty obtaining due to minimum order restrictions from suppliers.
It also gives dairy producers and suppliers access to a market, they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to reach due to logistical complexities.
Customers can buy a minimum of one case of each product as long as their total order for all products reaches a combined total of 100 cases.
Oakland’s managing director Dean Attwell said: “The scheme’s delivery routes and destinations offer existing customers a fresh opportunity to penetrate new markets for products suitable to the catering or convenience sectors.”
