RH Freight has launched the “Million Pound Branch Project” with the aim of increasing the sales and customer service capabilities of all its 14 local sales offices across the UK.
It plans to increase the number of freight account managers to 140 from its current level of 100 over the next two years.
Managing director Ian Baxter said: “Although the freight industry is still suffering, the market is set to become ever more competitive in the future. We are absolutely determined to provide the highest level of service for a reasonable price and want to focus on building long term relationships with customers for our mutual benefit. By investing in our branch network we will be able to provide a higher level of customer service, and we recognise this as key to growth in the future.”
