A number of household brands have signed up for the next FMCG supply chain best practice benchmarking initiative, including United Biscuits, Pepsico, Nestle, Fox’s Biscuits, Silver Spoon, Tetley Tea, Twinings, Nutricia, Ryvita, Jordans and AB World Foods.

SCALA Consulting has run the benchmarking since 2004 and has developed more than 40 KPI measures comparing forecasting, inventory, customer service, logistics costs and performance ratios.
Rob Wright, national logistics controller for United Biscuits said: “We really valued last year’s Best Practice development and believe participation helps us to keep in close contact with the issues and latest developments in the sector. We are, of course, participating again this year.”
