CargoGulf, the non-vessel operating common carrier, has opened an office at Port Klang in Malaysia, as part of its expansion in the south east Asia region.
The office was opened in response to customer demand and will provide direct services into the country, to both international and domestic customers.
Hans-Henrik Nielsen, managing director of CargoGuld (Singapore), said signs of growth in the Malaysian economy also drove the decision to open a base in the country.
“We believe that Malaysia will emerge as a strong alternative to the large economies of China and India, offering overseas clients competitive prices and high quality products.”
CargoGulf has existing offices in Singapore, Jakarta and Surabaya in Indonesia, Bangkok in Thailand, Manchester in the UK and Dubai.
