Ipswich-based GMA Warehousing and Transport has set up a new operation at Felixstowe to focus on short sea trailer work and deep sea container business.
The new company, GMA Trading, has put a ten new Volvo FH-460s on the road. Another two of the trucks will go to work at GMA in Ipswich.

The FH 460 six by two artics and have been ordered with Globetrotter XL cabs and Volvo’s I-Shift automated gearbox.
GMA operates more than 150,000 sq ft of secure warehousing space with an annual warehouse throughput exceeding 150,000 tonnes. It has more than 1,600 spaces of racking and a comprehensive range of specialised equipment, such as paper, pulp and drum handlers, extending fork jibs and mobile floor ramps.
