Molson Coors has chosen Multipart Solutions to provide parts supply and logistics support to the its customer technical services (CTS) operation which is responsible for the supply, installation, repair and maintenance of drinks dispense equipment.
On the back of the three year contract Multipart has created a new division, Drinksflow, to ensure focus and attention to Molson Coors’ needs and will work closely with England Worthside, a leading drinks industry specialist.
The services provided include inventory planning and control, procurement, order processing and electronic parts cataloguing, warehousing and associated customer services. In addition, Drinksflow will manage a range of transport channels, providing a capability to handle deliveries and collections from the Multipart National Distribution Centre in Chorley to the Molson Coors technical representatives and their subcontractors.
By using its IT systems it is able to minimise inventory holding by planning inventory usage levels and thereby reducing capital employed within Molson Coors. Molson Coors technical representatives will be able to use Drinksflow’s Electronic Parts Catalogue to identify and order parts to ensure a quicker and more accurate parts fulfilment operation.
EWL provides bespoke supply chain solutions to drinks dispense clients both large and small. Their prime roles in this contract will be to provide industry related knowledge and technical expertise while supplying and managing the “closed loop” parts and equipment delivery service to and collection from subcontractor depots.

This contract will change the way we do things and is an important part of a significant change programme we are embarking on within CTS”.
