Ford Retail’s parts business has implemented Syncron’s Global Inventory Management software to support its after sales operations throughout the UK.
The business operates four distribution centres and eight supporting parts hubs, which serve both the Ford Retail dealer network and independent automotive dealers and workshops across the country through its @first Parts Solutions brand.
Angus Brown, managing director of @first Parts Solutions, said: “Syncron’s solution will enable us to optimise inventory in the supply chain to significantly raise the first-time availability of parts to achieve industry-leading service levels for our customers.”
