P&O Ferrymasters has chosen Quintiq software to handle all aspects of its planning.
Currently all planning is done manually, but P&O hopes to gain flexibility and company-wide consistency, with all planners using the same system.

Quintiq, a Netherlands based software provider, will work with shipping industry systems integrator The Logic Factory to implement the new software, starting with the freight forwarding division. Then it will extend the system to the intermodal and fleet assests divisions.
P&O Ferrymasters, wholly owned by Dubai World, is a pan-European logistics service provider with a fleet of some 2500 pallet-wide containers and 2000 multipurpose
road trailers.
