Jungheinrich is now offering its EJE 116 electric-powered pedestrian pallet truck with Silent Drive, in a bid to help customers keep noise to a minimum at sites in built-up areas.
The reduction in noise emissions has been achieved by a number of technical modifications to the truck, including the introduction of a low-noise pump which automatically turns off when the desired lifting height has been achieved.
The EJE 116 is also designed to be easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces and can lift and transport loads weighing 1,600kg.
