Damco, the logistics arm of AP Moller – Maersk has hired Mark Michaels as chief commercial officer for North America.
Michaels assumes the role on 1st August and will be based at Damco’s North American head office in Madison, New Jersey.
He joins from Kuehne + Nagel, where he was most recently senior vice president of sales & marketing.
“Mark’s experience with the logistics and freight forwarding industry is vast and impressive and will allow him to lead and strengthen our sales & customer efforts to a new level,” said Jeremy Haycock, president for Damco in North America.
