Roberts Bakery has implemented Paragon’s delivery routeing software to automate and improve its route planning and scheduling.
Prior to installing the system, the company planned 35 daily direct routes manually for delivering products to hundreds of customer sites throughout the UK.
Planning time has now been reduced to a few hours and any adjustments can be made quickly as the software re-plans the route automatically.
Roberts Bakery now plans to use the software across the rest of its business and link it to its Masternaut vehicle tracking system, allowing it to compare real-time activity against its plans.
