The Dutch Ministry of Defence has signed a two-year contract with Aramex to provide ground transport services across Europe.
Under the agreement, Aramex will handle regular movement of shipments both inbound and outbound from the Netherlands to locations across the EU, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey.
The management of the contract will be co-ordinated at Aramex’s Eindhoven station under the leadership of branch manager Adri voor den Dag, while Sibrand van der Veen will manage the account commercially.
Aramex Netherlands will also deploy additional staff to expand its capacity where needed.
The contract will involve the movement of helicopter blades, aircraft engines and spares to supplies for international training exercises, among other things.
