Voice picking software provider Voxware launches version 4.0 of its Voxware 3 product.
The new version expands on the enterprise voice manager, and will allow customers to deploy and manage voice picking applications across multiple warehouses from a single instance of software in a central data centre.
Scott Yetter, chief executive officer of Voxware said: “Software architecture should not dictate a centralized or decentralised deployment approach. We developed the Enterprise Voice Manager so our customers can implement voice picking software that reflects current IT standards and significantly reduces the total cost of ownership for deploying voice solutions in the warehouse.”
The new software also includes enhancements to order picking replenishment and putaway applications. Version 4.0 supports mobile devices from Intermec, LXE and Motorola.
