Scottish courier Thistle Couriers is using NetDespatch eTrader to offer a door-to-door parcel service to the general public.
Individuals can book collections online without setting up an account with the courier which collects the parcel from the doorstep.
Ewan Ferguson, managing director of Thistle Couriers, said: “We are experiencing a healthy interest for one-off and low volume next-day deliveries using our eTrader facility.
“This provides a user-friendly interface for the general public so that they may use the APC Overnight network to send parcels from Scottish addresses to other individuals or businesses throughout the UK.”
eTrader is part of the NetDespatch Velocity on-demand applications platform which also includes web booking, systems integration, pre-labelling, address management, mileage and weight based pricing, manifests, event tracking, management reporting, POD management, mobile data and eCommerce solutions.
