Supply Chain Standard has unveiled the shortlist for the European Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2010. The fact that 60 companies have made the cut reflects the fact that it had a bumper crop of entries again this year.
The Awards are organised by Supply Chain Standard in partnership with consultants PRTM. Each finalist will now be asked to make a presentation to the panel of judges. It is this stringent judging process which focuses on performance against five core disciplines of supply chain that gives the Awards that extra cachet.
The Awards are presented at a glittering dinner at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel before an audience of more than 450 industry leaders. This year the dinner will take place on Thursday 18th November.
The Awards will be hosted by comedian Rufus Hound who is a team captain on the TV series “Argumental”. But he is perhaps better known for winning the 2010 series of “Let’s Dance for Sport Relief” by dressing up as Cheryl Cole and dancing to her song “Fight For This Love”.
The Awards are split into a number of categories – sector awards covering the key areas of trade and industry, and special category awards that recognise excellence in specific functions.
Join us for this glamorous event at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 18th November. You can book your place at our web site: www.supplychainexcellenceawards.com
