myWarehouse, which offers e-tailers warehousing on a pay-as-you-go basis has moved to a 12,000 sq ft site at Heathfield Industrial Estate in Milton Keynes. The new fulfilment centre offers four times the capacity of the previous facility in Bedford.
The company was launched last year and now has more than 45 online retail customers. The new warehouse will store more than 20,000 different product lines including a wide range of DIY, fashion, baby wear, health and beauty, electronics, home and kitchenware, and camping items, while handling on average 7,000 orders each month.
myWarehouse has developed a bespoke fulfilment management system, including voice picking.
Richard Tucker from myWarehouse said: “We selected this site because it matches the company’s growth strategy moving forward and we are already looking at adding a mezzanine floor that will increase storage space by a further 8,000 sq ft.”
