Duncan Eyre has become commercial director of the UK transport services division of Norbert Dentressangle.
He will head a new business development team to support the expansion of the company’s shared-user network services, including palletised distribution. Further appointments to the team are expected over the next few months.
In the new role, Eyre will be responsible for sales and account management strategy, customer retention and continued growth of the company’s wide-ranging client base.
Eyre has been with Norbert for six years. He has previously worked for two years at Whitbread Food Logistics and six at Exel Logistics.
