High street retailer Clinton Cards has selected the Psion Teklogix’s NEO mobile computer as part of its upgrade of its enterprise resource planning operations.
The device was supplied by the Barcode Warehouse, and will be used for electronic data capture across a broad range of applications including goods receipting, range planning and price checking.
Richard Wilson, group information systems manager at Clinton Cards, said: “The use of the Psion NEO mobile device supports full stock ordering and control… Up until this stage we have not been using handheld technology in our stores so this is a major move forward for us as a business.”
The initial roll out will take place in September and all 1,100 units will be deployed by December 2010.
