Stobart has launched a management development programme to develop potential managers and senior managers.
It has chosen 15 delegates to enter the programme of training workshops, job swaps and mentoring to develop key skills and ensure a strong flow of motivated managers for the transport firm.
Deputy chief executive Richard Butcher is the head of the programme, and has planned seven key training sessions during the next 12 months.
He said: “Stobart is well known for its highly-trained staff and we want to step that up a gear by ensuring our managers of the future will be the best possible.”
