Value fashion retailer Peacocks has signed a seafreight contract with Ceva worth £16 million, extending its 14 year relationship with the company.
Ceva already handles air import services for the retailer from its Cardiff freight management facility. Under the new contract, Ceva will now handle all Peacocks’ inbound ocean logistics too.
Ceva’s Ocean Plus teams in Hong Kong and Birmingham will control the movement of over 6,000 shipping containers from more than 400 suppliers.
As part of the service, it will also provide Peacocks with real-time visibility of stock in transit.
