CitySprint has acquired the courier business of South West company Road Runners.
Road Runners’ courier business will be consolidated with CitySprint’s existing Swindon business. The previous owners, Mike and Audrey McCartney, will oversee the transition.
CitySprint has 31 service centres throughout the UK. Its website allows customers to get quotes, book jobs, and track the dedicated courier assigned to their job from the point of collection through to delivery.
The National Couriers Association named Road Runners as the Best Regional Courier Company of the Year for ten years running, and it reckons that its turnover has doubled in the last seven years. It has retained its executive car business.
