Soft drinks giant Britvic has renewed its warehousing contract with Wincanton and expanded it distribution contract with Eddie Stobart for a further three years.
Wincanton has also secured an additional storage unit in West Thurrock, Essex, which will hold around 5,000 pallets and serve the drinks company’s customers in the local area.
The facility will complement Britvic’s national distribution centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire and builds on a 16-year relationship.
The multi-million pound agreement with Eddie Stobart will see the company provide ambient transport across Britvic’s primary manufacturing and distribution activities.
Under the new contract, Eddie Stobart will make deliveries into the company’s UK manufacturing facilities and customer deliveries from several distribution centres across the country.
Britvic and Eddie Stobart have worked together for more than 20 years.
Britvic makes brands including Pepsi, R Whites and Robinsons.
