BOC, the provider of industrial, medical and special gases, has chosen Suttons to deliver aerosol propellants in the UK.
Ian Jackson, BOC national transport manager UK & Ireland, said: “We selected Suttons on the basis of capability and value. Throughout the selection process, BOC were focused on identifying a logistics partner for the future, one who could build on the existing high safety, health, environment, quality and service standards but also assist in meeting BOC’s strategic distribution objectives.”
Widnes-based Suttons has been expanding globally and now has operations in Antwerp, Essen, Houston, Kuantan, Le Havre, New Jersey, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
Group managing director Andrew Palmer said: “This deal comes on the back of the distribution of pentanes and carbon dioxide work we currently do for BOC.”
